For nearly half a century, the Peruvian yellow-tailed woolly monkey was thought to be extinct. This film follows an expedition into the cloud forest of the Peruvian Andes which successfully ends in an encounter with this rare and magnificent primate. The film portrays the beauty of this threatened habitat and the efforts of concerned Peruvians to protect it for both humans and wildlife.
